New Release: When in Rome DVD and Blu-ray

When in Rome movie scene with Kristen BellWalt Disney Studios Home Entertainment‘s romantic comedy When in Rome was released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 15, 2010.

The PG-13 movie grossed $31 million in theaters, but it stars the cute Kristen Bell (Couples Retreat) as a work-a-holic who goes to Italy for her sister’s wedding and finds herself pursued by one too many suitors. Josh Duhamel (Life As We Know It) plays her romantic partner, and Angelica Huston (TV show Medium) and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) are also in the cast.

Directed by Ghost Rider helmer Mark Steven Johnson, When in Rome was written by the comedy team behind Old Dogs, which didn’t do too well at the box office.

On DVD ($29.99), When in Rome includes:

  • “Kerplunk! Bloopers From Rome”
  • deleted scenes
  • music videos “Starstrukk” by 3OH3! featuring Katy Perry and “Stupid Love Letter” by Friday Night Boys

The Blu-ray ($39.99) includes those plus:

  • alternate opening and ending
  • “Crazy Casanovas: Mischief From the Set”
  • extended scenes: “Pain With the Suitors”
  • additional deleted scenes
