New Release: Saint John of Las Vegas DVD

Vivendi and IndieWest took a gamble on laughs with the DVD release of the comedy Saint John of Las Vegas on July 13, 2010.

The movie stars Steve Buscemi (Con Air, Reservoir Dogs) as a down on his luck gambling-addict named John who decides to get as far away from Sin City as he can. He finds a job at an insurance company in Albuquerque, which leads to a new girlfriend (Sarah Silverman of, wildly enough, TV’s The Sarah Silverman Program) and the promising start of a new life. Just as things are starting to look up, the ex-gambler is sent on a road trip back to Vegas with a mysterious, veteran coworker to investigate a bizarre claim.

Directed by Hue Rhodes, the independent film co-stars Romany Malco (TV’s Weeds, The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Peter Dinklage (Death at a Funeral), John Cho (Star Trek, the Harold & Kumar movies), Emmanuelle Chriqui (TV’s Entourage) and Tim Blake Nelson (The Astronaut Farmer).

The R-rated Saint John of Las Vegas carries a retail price of $19.93.
