New Release: To Save a Life DVD and Blu-ray

To Save a Life movie sceneInspirational film To Save a Life came out on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug. 3, 2010, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Written by youth pastor Jim Britts, based on his own novel, To Save a Life tells the story of popular teen Jake Taylor (Randy Wayne of The Haunting of Molly Hartley), whose world is rocked when a childhood friend who didn’t fit in as well with the politics of high school brings a gun onto campus. After the tragedy, Jake wonders if he could have saved his friend and tries to reach out to others like him, but his new motives threaten his world.

The drama movie also stars Deja Kreutzberg (TV’s As the World Turns), Steven Crowder (TV’s Greek) and Robert Bailey Jr. (The Happening).

To Save a Life had a limited theatrical release, grossing $3.7 million.

Priced at $24.96 on DVD and $34.95 on Blu-ray, the PG-13 movie comes with these special features on both versions:
