The Penguins of Madagascar: I Was a Penguin Zombie DVD boxThe animated penguins of Madagascar star in the children’s Halloween adventure The Penguins of Madagascar: I Was a Penguin Zombie, which was released on DVD on Oct. 5, 2010.

Priced at $13, the DreamWorks Animation 88-minute, G-rated movie is distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment.

In I Was a Penguin Zombie, penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private come face to face with zombies, robots, spooky noises and more frightening fun in eight eerie episodes from Nickelodeon’s Emmy and Annie Award-winning TV show.

The DVD includes DreamWorks Animation’s Video Jukebox.

The penguins first appeared in DWA’s 2005 hit animation theatrical movie Madagascar. After that, they got a show of their own on Nickelodeon.
