Released in stores on Oct. 26, the Alien Anthology Blu-ray will include all six movies, plus special features, in one whopping collection, priced at $139.99. (Click for all the Alien Anthology Blu-ray details.) But you can win yours FREE!

2. Post a comment on this page telling us whether you are a fan of Disc Dish on Facebook or Twitter before midnight Tuesday, Oct. 26. If you want, feel free to tell us what you love most about the Alien movies.

    I don’t tweet (at least not intentionally or in public) and I don’t do facebook, but I do enjoy reading the excellent reviews and articles on your website. The original Alien movie set the bar for horror movies which has rarely been equaled. Aliens spun the idea on it’s side and morphed into an amazingly intense, groundbreaking action movie. “Game over, man.” The final two sequels dropped the ball, in my opinion, but are still entertaining. I am very interested to see the extended cuts. Thank you for the chance to win.

    What I love most is the difference in creativity and direction throughout the films. Quite the difference going through those creative minds and how they were able to add a little of their own flare to the franchise.

    Facebooked and tweeted! The Alien series is one of the best in film history, featuring three of the finest filmmakers working – Ridley Scott, James Cameron, and David Fincher. And while not all of them live up to the glory of the first two, you can’t deny that these movies are the very definition of “iconic”. Blockbuster filmmaking was changed forever because of these films, and we’re the better for it!
