Chaplin movie sceneThree-time Oscar-nominated biography movie Chaplin, starring Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man 2) as the silver screen star, debuted on high-definition Blu-ray on on Feb. 15, 2011, in a 15th Anniversary edition from Lionsgate.

Directed by Richard Attenborough (Gandhi), the 1992 critically acclaimed film dramatizes the life of Charlie Chaplin (Modern Times) from his poverty stricken childhood to his retirement, through many marriages, his invention of his iconic The Little Tramp character, his pursuit by J. Edgar Hoover, exile to Switzerland and later return to Hollywood.

The cast also includes Academy Award winners Anthony Hopkins (The Wolfman), Kevin Kline (The Extra Man) and Marisa Tomei (Cyrus) and nominees Diane Lane (Secretariat), Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters) and James Woods (Once Upon a Time in America).

The Chaplin: 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray, priced at $19.99, has a remastered version of the movie plus three featurettes.
