New Release: Austin Powers in single Blu-ray

Austin Powers movie sceneWarner Home Video released the three Austin Powers movies in single Blu-ray editions on Jan. 4, 2011. Since 2008, the films have only been available on the high-definition format in an Austin Powers Collection boxed set.

The PG-13-rated Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) are each be priced at $19.98.

The series of films, all of which are directed by Jay Roach (Dinner for Schmucks) stars Mike Myers (voice of Shrek in Shrek Forever After) as Powers, a 1960s hipster secret agent who’s brought out of cryofreeze in the 1990s to defeat his greatest enemy, Dr. Evil (also played by Myers).

The three movies also star Seth Green (Old Dogs) as Dr. Evil’s son, Mindy Sterling (TV’s Desperate Housewives) as Dr. Evil’s evil accomplice, and a series of Power girls: Elizabeth Hurley (Bedazzled) in Man of Mystery, Heather Graham (Boogie Woogie) in Spy Who Shagged Me and Beyonce Knowles (Dreamgirls) in Goldmember.
