New Release: Hobo With a Shotgun DVD and Blu-ray

Hobo With a ShotgunAfter building up quite a buzz on the film festival circuit, action movie Hobo With a Shotgun arrived on DVD and Blu-ray on July 5, 2011, from Magnolia Home Entertainment.

From new director Jason Eisener (The Rite), the film stars Rutger Hauer as a homeless vigilante, who, like the title suggests, is armed with a pump-action shotgun and blows away crooked cops, pedophile Santas and other scumbags. Awesome!

Along with Machete, a trailer for Hobo won the Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez Grindhouse Trailer Contest and was featured in Grindhouse, leading to the filming of the full-length movie.

Hobo With a Shotgun was released in three versions: a single DVD ($26.98), Two-DVD Collector’s Edition ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($29.98). For a limited time, the two-DVD and Blu-ray versions include a downloadable digital copy.
