Ben-Hur, the glorious 1959 epic directed by William Wyler and starring Charlton Heston as the young Jewish prince Judah Ben-Hur, arrived in gorgeously restored DVD and Blu-ray editions today. And Warner Home Entertainment has provided Disc Dish a copy of Ben-Hur 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition on DVD to give away to a lucky reader!

The unforgettable film that won 11 Academy Awards (including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor) received a $1 million makeover for its Ultimate Collector’s Edition incarnation. It’s been given a meticulous frame-by-frame restoration from the original 65mm camera negative and result is an image that’s six times as clear and sharp as its previous DVD release. The edition also includes more than four hours of bonus features (read about them here), led by a new feature-length documentary hosted by Charlton Heston’s son Fraser.

This movie on DVD is priced at $49.92, but you can enter to win a copy of the DVD at Disc Dish. All you have to do is:
