Aired on ABC, Suburgatory brings Jeremy Sisto (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead) back to TV but with comedy.
Known for his regular roles on Six Feet Under and Law & Order, Sisto stars in the satirical sitcom as George, well-meaning dad who relocates himself and his witty teen, Tessa (Jane Levy, TV’s Shameless), from New York to a quirky suburban neighborhood.
The cookie-cutter world is populated by the likes of vain mom Dallas Royce (Cheryl Hines, TV’s Curb Your Enthusiasm), her pouty daughter Dalia (Carly Chaikin, The Last Song) and the sarcastic Lisa Shay (Allie Grant, TV’s Weeds). Out of place, Tessa goes into culture shock as she tries to adapt to her new home.
The television series also stars Alan Tudyk (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Rex Lee (TV’s Entourage).
The three-disc DVD set contains all 22 episodes of the first season, plus these special features:
