Monsters Inc.In preparation for prequel Monsters University bowing in theaters in June 2013, Disney/Pixar’s Monsters Inc. got its Blu-ray 3D debut and a new high-definition Blu-ray/DVD combo.

The 2001 animated movie features the voices of John Goodman (Flight) and Billy Crystal (Snall Apartments) as James P. “Sulley” Sullivan and Mike Wazowski, the best monsters at Monsters Inc., where children’s screams are collected to power the monsters’ city. But when a girl accidentally ends up on the monsters’ side of the door, Mike and Sulley have their work cut out for them as they try to get her home.

Monsters Inc. won a Best Song Oscar and grossed a tidy $255 million at the box office when it was originally released. The G-rated film, which also features the voices of Steve Buscemi (TV’s Boardwalk Empire) and Jennifer Tilly (30 Beats), had a 3D run in 2012 in preparation for this disc release.

The three-disc Blu-ray/DVD version comes in DVD and Blu-ray packaging, and those as well as the five-disc Blu-ray 3D combo contain special features. Here’s the list of extras:
