Prisoners of War: Season 1Lovers of Showtime’s Homeland, the show is based on the award-winning Isreali TV show Prisoners of War.

The drama television series tells the story of three Israeli soldiers who are held captive for 17 years and their struggles to reconnect with their family and friends and rejoin society after they’re released. When secrets from the years that they were imprisoned surface, resentment and suspicion threaten to destroy their lives again.

Created by Gideon Raff, the foreign show has been the number one drama in Israel since 2011.

The Prisoners of War: Season One DVD contains three discs with all 10 episodes plus these bonus features:

  • “An Open Wound: Making Prisoners of War,” including interviews with the cast and creator Gideon Raff
  • episode commentaries with Gideon Raff and director of photography Itai Neeman.
