Jason Segel (Sex Tape) portrays the late best-selling author David Foster Wallace in the road movie drama The End of the Tour.

The film follows journalist David Lipsky (Jesse Eisenberg, To Rome with Love) as he interviews author David Foster Wallace (Segel) while he is on tour promoting his 1996 novel Infinite Jest. Over the course of a couple of days, the extended conversation between the two explores friendship, fame, and creative rivalry.

Written for the screen by Donald Margulies and based on the book Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace by David Lipsky, the film is directed by James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now).

The film was well-received by the critics when it was released to theaters on a limited basis in August of this year.
