The drama I Smile Back stars Sarah Silverman (A Million Ways to Die in the West), the wildly talented comedian whose performance garnered her a 2016 Screen Actors Guild nomination for Best Actress.

In the film, Sarah portrays Laney, a suburban wife and devoted mother of two adorable children. Just beneath the façade of her seemingly perfect life lies depression and disillusionment that sends her careening into a secret world of reckless compulsion that includes drugs, drinking and raunchy extramarital sex. When Laney’s despair and reckless behavior puts her in danger and begins affecting those she loves, she is forced to face what she has become…along with her painful past.

Directed by Adam Salky (Dare) and co-starring Josh Charles (TV’s The Good Wife) and Thomas Sadoski (John Wick), the DVD of I Smile Back also includes, as a bonus feature, an “In Conversation With…” segment with Ms. Silverman that was taped at the Toronto Film Festival.
