Keanu Reeves (John Wick) and Ana de Armas (Knock Knock) star in the 2015 crime thriller Exposed.

In the film, a troubled cop (Reeves) investigates the death of his partner, exposing a disturbing case of police corruption along with a dangerous secret that leads him to a troubled young woman (de Armas) suffering from bizarre, seemingly supernatural visitations.

“Directed” by Declan Dale (which is a pseudonym used much in the way that the name Alan Smithee was used for films that a director has disowned–so, technically, we don’t know who the director is!), the R-rated movie also stars Mira Sorvino (Barcelona), Christopher McDonald (Not Fade Away) and Laura Gómez (Orange Is the New Black”).

This barely-there flick received a tiny roll-out in February (following various pop-ups across the world in such countries as Kuwait, Cambodia and Indonesia. Critics generally didn’t like it, save for a solid review from Time Out’s Tom Huddleston, who said the film has a “grimy, off-kilter charm not seen since the heyday of ’70s exploitation.”

The Exposed home entertainment release is loaded with pulse-pounding special features including a behind-the-scenes featurette and extended interviews with the cast.
