In her last film, the musical drama I Could Go On Singing (1963), the legendary Judy Garland (Easter Parade) stars as an American singer who visits London and can’t resist the temptation to meet up once again with a lost love (Dirk Bogarde, The Night Porter) and the now teenaged son she left him to care for many years before.
Ronald Neame (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie) directs, and the title tune is by the incomparable duo of Harold Arlen and E.Y. (“Yip”) Harburg.
