The fashion world of Paris is not ready for Luis (Luis Guzmán, HBO’s How to Make It in America) and Eddie (Edgar Garcia) in the fish-out-of-water comedy Puerto Ricans in Paris, wherein they portray two NYPD detectives recruited by a fashion agency to track down a black market thief who’s stolen its latest handbag designs.

Stumbling through the fashion shows, nightclubs and hipster cafes of Paris, these two strangers in a strange land must use their wits to track down the elusive thief and collect a large bounty that would change their lives back home.

Directed and co-written by Ian Edelman (creator of How to Make It in America), the R-rated comedy co-stars in Rosie Perez (Small Apartments) and Rosario Dawson (Top Five).

Puerto Ricans in Paris opened in 41 theaters in June, 2016. The stars received generally positive notices; the movie did not.
