An emotionally distant family is brought together in the road trip comedy-drama Youth in Oregon.

When 79-year-old curmudgeon Raymond (Frank Langella, Robot & Frank) makes arrangements to be euthanized in Oregon, his family refuses to accept his decision. But when another family emergency arises, Raymond’s daughter Kate (Christina Applegate, Vacation) turns to her husband Brian (Billy Crudup, 20th Century Women) for a little help. So Brian reluctantly volunteers to drive the cantankerous Raymond and his wine-loving wife Estelle (Mary Kay Place, Being John Malkovich) three-thousand miles to Oregon. While en route, Brian grows determined to change the old man’s mind before they reach the Beaver State…

Directed by Joel David Moore (Killing Winston Jones) and written by Andrew Eisen, the unrated movie made only a so-so impression on critics during its limited U.S. theatrical rollout in February, garnering a 45% Fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes based on 20 published reviews.
