Writer-director Woody Allen’s (Blue Jasmine) 1987 drama September is a tale of yearning, artsy, upper-crust, neurotic characters coupling and uncoupling during a fall gathering at a Vermont estate.

A sterling cast – Denholm Elliott (The Wicked Lady), Dianne Wiest (Hannah and Her Sisters), Mia Farrow (Crimes and Misdemeanors), Elaine Stritch (Romance & Cigarettes), Sam Waterston (The Killing Fields), Jack Warden (Used Cars) – delivers the emotional ambience, while cinematographer Carlo Di Palma provides the stunning visual atmosphere.
