A married couple’s romantic getaway in the wild turns deadly when they find themselves trapped in a tent with a poisonous snake in the suspense thriller Serpent.

Rising stars Sarah Dumont (Don Jon) and Tom Ainsley (TV’s Versailles) star as the couple in the bind, and when they find themselves unable to escape and with certain death looming, the tent becomes a heated confessional to a cataclysmic truth. Betrayed, the couple finds themselves spiraling into a dark and dangerous game of survival, where the truth can do anything but set you free.

Serpent is written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Amanda Evans (TV’s Monumental: Re-Riding History).

The film has already made some noise, earning a handful of film festival honors, including the Nightfall Award at the 2017 LA Film Festival and the Award of African Critic at the 2017 Durban International Film Festival.
