Manifesto was originally a 2015 Australian-German multi-screen film installation written, produced and directed by acclaimed German visual artist Julian Rosefeldt and starring two-time Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine).

The film features Blanchett in 13 different roles as she performs a series of striking “manifestos” from 20th Century art movements in monologue form. It was shot over two weeks in December 2014 in locations in and around Berlin.

From anchorwoman to homeless man to choreographer to scientist—and prom Pop Art to Dogma 95—the chameleon-like Blanchett gives it all she’s got as weaves together history’s most impassioned artistic statements in what essentially plays as a contemporary call to action.

Manifesto has been previously released on Blu-ray by FilmRise and is still available
