The appealing cast of Guy Pearce (Lockout), Pierce Brosnan (The Ghost Writer), Minnie Driver (Barney’s Version) and Jamie Kennedy (Good Deeds) star in the thriller Spinning Man.

When a 17-year-old girl goes missing, family man and distinguished college professor Evan Birch’s (Pearce) life is turned upside down as circumstantial evidence convinces gruff Detective Malloy (Brosnan) that Birch is a prime suspect. As Malloy investigates Birch’s past indiscretions with female students and Birch’s wife (Driver) begins to question his alibi, the professor’s life starts to unravel, and suddenly the questions that he faces aren’t merely academic — they’re a matter of life and death.

Based on the book “The Spinning Man” by George Harrar, and written for the screen by Matthew Aldrich, the movie (which is currently available On Demand) is directed by Simon Kaijser.

The DVD and Blu-ray include a director’s commentary and a behind-the-scenes featurette, along with deleted scenes and a trailer gallery.
