The beloved late comedienne Gilda Radner reflects on her life and career—in her own words!—in the new tribute documentary Love, Gilda.

Weaving together her recently discovered audiotapes and rare home movies, Love, Gilda opens a window into Radner’s world by having her diaries read by such modern-day comedians as Bill Hader, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and Cecily Strong.  It also offers interviews with original “Saturday Night Live” cast and crew, such as Chevy Chase, Laraine Newman, Paul Shaffer and longtime friend, Martin Short, and others who knew Radner when she created such comic characters such as Roseanne Roseannadanna, Emily Litella and Lisa Loopner.

Directed by Lisa D’Apolito, the film also documents her childhood, her comedy career, her life with Gene Wilder and ultimately, her struggle with cancer, to which she succumbed at the age of 42.
