MVD Visual continues to roll out VCI’s line of Blu-ray debuts of 4K-restored vintage movies from the U.S. and abroad. The latest is a double feature of Cuban-born filmmaker Rene Cardona’s 1967 film The Panther Women and 1968’s Batwoman.

Maura Monti is Batwoman.

The sci-fi-adventure Batwoman (known in its native tongue as La mujer murcielago) follows a beautiful crime fighting luchador known as Batwoman (curvy Maura Monti) as investigates a whacked out scientist that is capturing wrestlers and using their spinal fluid to create a Gill Man.

Meanwhile, The Panther Women (or Las mjueres panteras) tells of a cult of beautiful (of course) Satan-worshipping women who perform blood sacrifices in order to resurrect their dead leader. Lots of innocent blood is shed in the process…
