New Release: In Treatment Season 2 DVD

In Treatment TV show sceneThe second season of HBO’s acclaimed drama television series In Treatment, starring Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects) as a therapist, was released on DVD on Oct. 12, 2010, through HBO Home Entertainment distributor Warner Home Video.

In Treatment: Season 2 is a seven-DVD set priced at $59.99.

An adaptation of the popular Israeli TV show by Hagai Levi, In Treatment follows Byrne’s Dr. Paul Weston through sessions with a series of patients. Levi serves as an executive producer on the U.S. version.

In season 2 of the TV-MA-rated show, Weston is newly divorced and practicing out of his home in Brooklyn. Among his clients are Mia (American Splendor‘s Hope Davis), a lawyer at a firm Weston hires to represent him in a malpractice lawsuit; April (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World‘s Alison Pill), a student with cancer; Walter (Frasier‘s John Mahoney), a high-powered CEO whose life and career are unraveling; and Oliver (Dirty Laundry‘s Aaron Shaw), an 11-year-old who overeats as a way to deal with his parents divorce. Meanwhile, Weston also continues to see a therapist of his own, Dianne Wiest (Rabbit Hole).
