New Release: Ticking Clock Blu-ray and DVD

Cuba Gooding Jr. locks and loads in Sony Pictures Home Entertainment‘s thriller Ticking Clock, released on DVD and Blu-ray on Jan. 4, 2011.

In the movie, Gooding (an Academy Award winner for 1996’s Jerry Maguire) plays Lewis Hicks, an investigative crime journalist who stumbles upon the diary of a serial killer (Neil McDonough, Captain America: The First Avenger) that details his plans for a series of upcoming murders.

Checking out the situation on his own, Hicks gets caught in a race against time to stop the killer from completing his cycle, which will conclude with his final target: a 9-year-old orphan living in a group home.

The R-rated DVD premiere movie was directed by Ernie Barbarash (the TV mini-series Meteor) and co-stars debuting actor Austin Abrams, Yancey Arias (Legion) and Danielle Nicolet (TV’s The Starter Wife).

Ticking Clock carries the suggested retail prices of $24.96 on DVD and $30.95 on Blu-ray.

No bonus features are on the discs.
