Paramount Home Entertainment released the action film Born to Raise Hell, starring Steven Seagal (Machete), on Blu-ray
One-time action superstar Seagal continues to pump out films — he has starred in some 15 of them over the past half decade, not to mention his own reality TV show.
In this movie, Seagal stars as Bobby Samuels, an Interpol agent assigned to an Eastern European task force targeting gun trafficking and dope running throughout the Balkans. While investigating a Russian gun dealer, his team is caught in a bloody street war between a Gypsy gang and the Russians, leaving one task force member dead. Fueled by vengeance, Samuels leads his team on a new mission to avenge his friend’s death.
Directed by stunt coordinator turned director Lauro Chartrand, Born to Raise Hell co-stars Dan Badarau (The Detonator) and Darren Shahlavi (Watchmen).
No special features are on the Blu-ray and DVD, which carry the list prices of $24.99 and $22.99, respectively.
