Shera Bechard is a hot woman who kills bad men in the revenge thriller Sweet Karma.

Phase 4 Films released the cleverly titled, exploitation-flavored revenge thriller Sweet Karma on DVD on June 14, 2011.

The first movie directed and co-written by Andrew Thomas Hunt, the independent film’s story centers on Karma Balint (Playboy Magazine’s November 2010 Playmate of the Month Shera Bechard), a shy, mute Russian girl whose sister Anna (Patricia Stasiak) left for Canada with bright hopes of making some money for the two of them to share. When Karma discovers that Anna’s body has been found in the woods, the apparent victim of a Russian mafia hit, she sets off to infiltrate Toronto’s strip club and sex trade scene and the criminal underworld to avenge her sister’s death. Needless to say, she uses her charms and some serious firepower to get the job done.

Hmmm … I Spit on Your Grave meets Showgirls, perhaps?

Co-starring John Tokatlidis, Frank Zupancic and Christian Bako (Game Over), the 2009 Canadian movie premiered in the U.S. on video-on-demand last fall.

No bonus features are on the Sweet Karma DVD, which carries the list price of $29.99.
