New Release: Smallville Complete Series DVD

SmallvilleSuperman TV show Smallville bid fans goodbye in May 2011, ending the series’ 10 seasons with a two-hour series finale on the CW on May 13. But it’s not really goodbye. Warner Home Video released a Smallville: The Complete Series DVD box set on Nov. 29, 2011.

The set holds a whopping 62 DVDs with all 218 episodes and more than five hours of new special features. Here are the other highlights:

  • Superboy pilot from 1961
  • 90-minute series retrospective with new interviews
  • 2010 final Comic-Con panel
  • episode guide with never-before-released on DVD production art and behind-the-scenes photos
  • and a Daily Planet newspaper written by DC Comics that highlights the important storylines developed during the show’s 10-year run.

Smallville: The Complete Series DVD boxThe show stars Tom Welling (Cheaper By the Dozen) as the pre-Superman Clark Kent, plus Kristin Kreuk (TV’s Chuck), Allison Mack (TV’s Dirty Little Secrets), Annette O’Toole (48 Hrs.) and John Schneider (TV’s The Dukes of Hazzard).

Smallville: The Complete Series is priced at $339.88.
