Ferris Bueller's Day Off movie scene

Ferris Bueller enjoys his Day Off.

Paramount Home Entertainment celebrated the 25th anniversary of John Hughes’ beloved comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with a re-issue of the film on Blu-ray and DVD on Aug. 2, 2011.

This latest edition of the 1986 film, starring Matthew Broderick (Election), Mia Sara (Legend) and Alan Ruck (I Love You Beth Cooper), will offer all of the bonus features that were previously seen on earlier Blu-ray and DVD editions of the film, along with commemorative packaging that features a fold-out map outlining Ferris’ adventures over the course of the movie. Highlighted on the map are Wrigley Field, the Art Institute of Chicago and Ferris and company’s joyous parade through downtown Chicago.

Don’t take this the wrong way, Paramount, … but that’s it!?!?

Here’s a list of the previously released bonus features:

  • Getting the Class Together—The Cast of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
  • The Making of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
  • Who is Ferris Bueller?
  • The World According to Ben Stein
  • Vintage Ferris Bueller: The Lost Tapes
  • Class Album

The Blu-ray and DVD carry the list prices of $19.99 and $12.99.
