New Release: Morning Glory DVD and Blu-ray

Morning Glory movie sceneAll-star cast comedy Morning Glory debuted on DVD and Blu-ray on March 8, 2011, from Paramount Home Entertainment.

The movie stars Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes) as an ambitious new television producer who lands her dream job in New York City, reviving a struggling morning show. But the job proves a big challenge when McAdams brings egotistical news reporter Harrison Ford (Star Wars series) to the show, sparking a war with host Diane Keaton (Father of the Bride). Jeff Goldblum (TV’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Patrick Wilson (The A-Team) also star.

Based on the novel of the same name by Diana Peterfreund, Morning Glory grossed $30.7 million when it ran in theaters.

On DVD, the film was priced at $19.99, and at $29.99 on high-definition Blu-ray.

Both contain a basic special features package, including:

  • deleted scene
  • commentary by director Roger Michell and writer Aline Brosh McKenna.
