New Release: Supernatural Season 2 Blu-ray

Supernatural season twoThe last of the first five seasons of TV show Supernatural to be available on high-definition, Supernatural: The Complete Second Season was released on Blu-ray on June 14, 2011, by Warner Home Video.

The science-fiction CW show stars Jared Padalecki (Friday the 13th) and Jensen Ackles (TV’s Smallville) as the Winchester brothers, who are searching for their missing father. Trained as warriors again supernatural evil, the brothers encounter creatures that most people believe exist only in folklore, including ghouls, vampires, spirits and more.

Season two is already available on DVD, and seasons one, three, four and five are already available on Blu-ray. Season six is available for pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray.

The Supernatural season two Blu-ray, priced at $59.96, will include all 22 episodes plus these special features:

  • “The Devil’s Road Map” in-depth, interactive look at the urban legends that inspired the series creator (BD Exclusive)
  • commentary on “In My Time of Dying” by executive producer/director Kim Manners and co-stars Padalecki and Ackles
