Khaled Nabawy focuses on Agnes Bruckner in The Citizen.

Writer/director Sam Kadi’s 2012 debut drama The Citizen stars Agnes Bruckner (The Woods), Khaled Nabawy (Fair Game), William Atherton (Ghostbusters), and Cary Elwes (New Year’s Eve).

Yearning to leave behind his life of misfortune in the Middle East, Ibrahim Jarrah (Nabawy) wins the U.S Green Card Lottery for a chance to become an American citizen. He lands in New York City on September 10, 2001…and the events of the September terrorist attacks forever shape the struggles he faces on his journey to capture the American dream.
