New Release: Waiting for Forever Blu-ray and DVD

Waiting for Forever movie scene

Love is in the air for Rachel Bilson and Tom Sturridge in Waiting for Forever.

Romantic drama Waiting for Forever, starring Rachel Bilson (TV’s The O.C.) and Tom Sturridge (Pirate Radio), arrived on Blu-ray and DVD courtesy of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on May 3, 2011.

Billed as “a story of childhood love that knows no bounds,” the movie tells the romantic tale of Will (Sturridge), a quirky street performer with a free spirit and a heart of pure gold, and Emma (Bilson), the beautiful young actress whom Will has never stopped loving since they were childhood sweethearts.

Separated after Will’s parents died when he was 9 years old and sent off to live with relatives, the two have not seen each other or communicated for 16 years when they encounter each other again. Will they reunite or will their complicated pasts and unsure futures put a damper on things? We haven’t seen the film yet, but we have a pretty good idea.

Directed by James Keach (TV’s Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) and approved for family viewing by the Dove Foundation, the PG-13-rated Waiting for Forever also stars Blythe Danner (Little Fockers), Richard Jenkins (Let Me In) and Jaime King (The Spirit). The movie received a limited theatrical release and some not-bad reviews last month.

No bonus are on the Blu-ray or DVD, which carry the list prices of $29.98 and $22.98, respectively.
