From South Korea comes 2018’s critically-acclaimed coming-of-age drama House of Hummingbird, directed by Bora Kim in her feature film directing debut and starring Ji-hu Park.

Positioned against the backdrop of a rapidly expanding Seoul in 1994, a lonely 14-year-old girl moves through life like a hummingbird searching for a taste of sweetness wherever she may find it.

Ignored by her parents and abused by her brother, young Eun-hee (Ji-hu Park) finds her escape by roaming the neighborhood with her best friend, going on adventures, exploring young love and experiencing everything that comes with growing up in a country on the brink of enormous change.

Winner of “Best Feature Film” at both the 2019  Berlin International Film Festival and the 2019 Seattle International Film Festival, the unrated film also stars Sae-byuk Kim (The Day After), Seung-Yeon Lee (Alive) and In-gi Jeong (Chaser).
