New Release: Deadly Impact DVD

The Matrix‘s Deadly Impact DVD boxJoe Pantoliano again plays the bad guy in Deadly Impact, a straight-to-DVD action thriller released on April 20, 2010. MGM Home Entertainment‘s movie is distributed by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

In the film, Pantoliano stars as a killer who plays a cat and mouse game with the FBI as he threatens a city. In on the chase is Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), a hard-nosed cop who joins the FBI to track down the mastermind murderer, with whom Flanery has a difficult past. Deadly Impact was the first action film directed by Robert Kurtzman, whose earlier movies include horrors The Rage and Wishmaster.

It received mixed reviews from critics.

The DVD was priced at $22.98 when it was released and doesn’t contain any special features. The movie is not being released on Blu-ray yet.
