New Release: Furry Vengeance DVD and Blu-ray

Furry Vengeance movie sceneFamily comedy Furry Vengeance, starring Brooke Shields (TV’s Lipstick Jungle) and Brendan Fraser (Blast From the Past), was released on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug. 17, 2010.

The movie tells the story of a real estate developer (Fraser ) who moves his wife (Shields) and son (Matt Prokop, High School Musical 3: Senior Year) to the woods to manage a supposed eco-friendly housing development, until the local wild animals do everything they can to stop construction. Comedian Ken Jeong (The Hangover and Angela Kinsey (TV’s The Office) also star.

Summit Entertainment‘s Furry Vengeance grossed $17.6 million when it was released in theaters.

The family film was released as a single DVD priced at $22.99 or a Blu-ray/DVD Flipper Disc priced at $40.99. The Flipper Disc has a Blu-ray on one side and DVD on the other side of the same disc, making it playable on any DVD or Blu-ray compatible player, videogame system or computer.

Special features are:

  • “The Pitfalls of Pratfalls”
  • “Working With Animals: A Portrait of Ken Beggs”
  • gag reel
  • and commentary with director Roger Kumble (Just Friends) and cast members.
