Dallas Warner Home Video brought out the DVD set Dallas: The Movie Collection on April 12, 2011, but for true fans of this 1970s-1980s TV series, the studio also delivered the whopper mega DVD set Dallas: Seasons 1-14 and The Movie Collection.

Starring Larry Hagman (TV’s Nip/Tuck) as the infamously conniving oil tycoon J.R. Ewing, the long-running soap opera told the tales of the back-stabbing Ewing family from 1978 to 1991. As well as Hagman, the cast included Patrick Duffy (TV’s Step By Step), Linda Gray (TV’s The Bold and the Beautiful), Victoria Principal (TV’s Titans) and Charlene Tilton (Superhero Movie).

The television series is getting a resurgence in 2013, with Duffy, Hagman and Gray returning with new cast members Jordana Brewster (The Fast and the Furious), Jesse Metcalfe (TV’s Desperate Housewives) and Josh Henderson (The Girl Next Door). So, this new set is the perfect way for fans to brush up on their Dallas trivia before the next round of the family’s story arrives.

All 14 seasons of the TV show were already on DVD in single-season sets. But this new 14-DVD boxed set includes all those plus the three movies The Early Years, J.R. Returns and The War of the Ewings.

All that was priced at a whopping $470.99! Now that’s definitely for true fans.
