Syrup movie scene

Amber Heard goes corporate in Syrup.

Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood) and Amber Heard (The Joneses) star in the comedy-tinged corporate drama Syrup.

Slacker-ish business school grad Scat (Fernandez) comes up with a million-dollar idea for a new soft drink to pitch to a major beverage manufacturer, though the drink itself is seemingly a worthless potable. The drink is nonetheless embraced by the company, but Scat is screwed over by his roommate (Kellan Lutz, Immortals), who claims all the credit. Teaming up with a luscious lady executive (Heard), Scat plot to get back the credit, the money…and some serious payback.

Directed and co-written by Aram Rappaport and adapted by co-scenarist Max Barry’s 2000 book, Syrup also features Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), Rachel Dratch and Kirstie Alley (as herself!).

Syrup premiered as a video-on-demand title in May, 2013 to little fanfare, though the thought of checking out beautiful Amber Heard in a collection of power suits has me a bit curious.

The discs contain a deleted scene and featurette as bonus features.
