Lots of sloppily edited hand-to-hand combat sequences and gunplay are on display in Wrong Side of Town, an action movie about an ex-Marine (Rob Van Dam) who’s out to get revenge on the gaggle of goons who attacked his wife (Lara Grice).

Okay, so here’s the question: When you’re a WWE superstar on the vengeance trail, who do you approach for help? Another WWEer, of course! Enter Dave Bautista as Van Dam’s old Marine buddy Big Ronnie, whose tattooed arms take centerstage on Wrong Side’s DVD box cover.

The pair have an enthusiastic if undistinguished time taking down the bad guys (WWE fighter Viscera, UFC grappler Justin McCully and rapper Ja Rule, amongst others), with Van Dam receiving some pretty graphic punishment along the way, including gunshot and knife wounds and gang beatings.

The most insulting damage is inflicted by porn star Stormy Daniels, who pops up as a topless stripper to chide Van Dam about not wanting a lapdance. “What’s the matter?” she puckers. “Don’t like girls?” No, that’s not the case, Stormy — he just gets more enjoyment out of kicking ass.
