Bollywood hit My Name is Khan debuted on DVD on Aug. 10, 2010, from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
The romance movie with Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, tells the story of an Indian man (Khan), who has a unique way of looking at the world. He moves to San Francisco and meets a single mother named Mandira (Kajol), and they fall in love against all odds. When they’re torn apart, Khan must travel across America to win back his love.
The film, about understanding and tolerance, grossed $4 million in a limited theatrical release, setting a record for the biggest opening weekend of a Bollywood film in North America, according to Fox.
The DVD, which was priced at $27.98, was timed around India’s Independence Day on Aug. 15.
