CBS’s critically acclaimed TV drama The Good Wife debuted on DVD on Sept. 14, 2010, from Paramount Home Entertainment.
Starring Julianna Margulies (ER), the TV show follows the life of Alicia Florrick, a former defense attorney whose politician husband (Sex and the City 2‘s Chris Noth) is thrown into jail because of a public sex and political corruption scandal. Thirteen years after Alicia left the courtroom, she rejoins the workforce to provide for her family, competing with a younger recent Harvard graduate for a firm’s one full-time associate position.
Margulies won a Golden Globe for her role in the television series, which was called the “best new drama of the season” by the Los Angeles Times. Alan Cumming, Gary Cole and David Paymer also star.
The Good Wife: The First Season DVD, priced at $64.99 for a six-disc set, includes all 23 episodes plus:
