Californication TV show sceneShowtime’s original TV series Californication was released in a season 3 DVD set on Nov. 9, 2010, distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment.

Starring David Duchovny (TV’s The X-Files, The Joneses) as a novelist who can’t stay out of trouble with women and work, the comedy/drama show won an Emmy Award for cinematography in 2008 and 2009 and a Golden Globe for Duchovny’s performance in 2008.

The television series also stars Natascha McElhone (Solaris) as Duchovny’s on again-off again girlfriend; Madeliene Martin as their daughter, who’s trying to deal with her dysfunctional parents; Madeline Zima (TV’s Heroes) as Duchovny’s underage complication and Evan Handler (Sex and the City 2) as Duchovny’s agent.

Californication: The Third Season has a running time of five hours, 40 minutes.

The special features on the DVD are two episodes of another Showtime original series, The Tudors.
