Vampire continued to rule screens big and small on March 1, 2011, with the release of the vampire thriller The Bleeding on DVD
Distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment, in association with Gigapix Releasing and Iron Bull Films, The Bleeding is an action-filled movie of vamps, tramps and guns, starring Vinnie Jones (Untitled), rap superstar DMX (Romeo Must Die), Michael Matthias, Rachelle Leah, Michael Madsen (The Brazen Bull), Armand Assante (Magic Man) and tattooed reality star Kat Von D (TV’s L.A. Ink).
The horror film tells the story of Shawn Black (Matthias), who, after his parents and brother are killed in front of him, has been beaten, bloodied and left for dead by a gang of ruthless vampires led by the charismatic Cain (Jones) and his lethal lieutenant Vanya (Von D). But like his would-be murderers, Shawn comes back from the brink of death to take his revenge. He soon comes upon Reverend Roy (Madsen), who reveals to Shawn his calling as a “slayer,” the only human capable of truly destroying vampires.
Directed by veteran stuntman/TV director Charlie Picerni (Three Days to Vegas), the R-rated DVD premiere movie contains the following bonus features:
