New Release: Jackass 3 Blu-ray and DVD

Pushing everything — including taste — to the limit, Jackass 3 hit homes on March 8, 2011, courtesy of Paramount Home Entertainment in an unrated Blu-ray/DVD combo with a downloadable digital copy and a Limited Edition two-DVD set.

Both the Blu-ray/DVD combo and Limited Edition DVD include the original theatrical version of the film in classic anaglyph 3D with four pairs of red/blue 3D glasses.

Additionally, the Blu-ray/DVD combo, Limited Edition DVD and a single DVD edition all include the unrated version of the film with footage not seen in theaters.

Another entry in the successful series that celebrates all forms of madness and mayhem, Jackass 3 features the entire Jackass crew — including Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy and Jason “Wee Man” Acuna — all of whom return for more lunacy and cringe-inducing stunts. From wild animal face-offs to pitiless practical jokes and logic-defying acts of guaranteed pain and suffering, Jackass 3 reaches new heights in the pursuit of insanity (inventive as it may be).

The comedy movie grossed a whopping $117 million at the box office this fall.

Here’s the breakdown of the special features on the Blu-ray/DVD combo:

  • unrated version of the film
  • theatrical version of the film
  • MTV making-of special
  • 11 deleted scenes
  • 29 outtakes

The DVDs have the same, except only two deleted scenes and five outtakes.
