The LIncoln Lawyer movie scene

Matthew McConaughey gets legal in The Lincoln Lawyer.

Lionsgate released the 2011 legal thriller The Lincoln Lawyer, starring Matthew McConaughey (Dazed and Confused), on DVD and Blu-ray on July 12, 2011.

Based on the best-selling novel by Michael Connelly, the movie stars McConaughey as Mick Haller, a charismatic attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental. Having spent most of his career defending gutter-variety criminals, Haller takes on a case that could land him a real office, instead of running his practice out of his car.

Haller reaches a crisis of conscious, though, while working on the defense of Beverly Hills playboy Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe, MacGruber). Roulet is charged with attempted murder, but what appears to be a straightforward case with a big payoff escalates into a deadly match between two masters of manipulation.

Also starring Marisa Tomei (Cyrus), William H. Macy (Jurassic Park III), Josh Lucas (Daydream Nation) and Bryan Cranston (TV’s Breaking Bad), The Lincoln Lawyer discs include three featurettes and deleted scenes as bonus features.

The DVD carries a price of $29.95 and the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack is priced at $39.99.
