Nick Stahl (Meskada) stars as a wartime journalist trying to do his job on the battle-torn plains of Afghanistan in the 2011 drama film Afghan Luke.

After his expose on a government cover-up in Afghanistan is buried by his editors, battlefield journalist Luke Benning returns to the scene of the war with his opium-fueled best friend in search of the truth. They embark on a perilous mission that includes gun fights, parties with soldiers and getting kidnapped — all on the way to discovering that the country is more dangerous than ever.

Directed by Mike Clattenburg and co-starring Ali Liebert (Apollo 13), comic Lewis Black (TV’s The Daily Show) and Steve Cochrane, Afghan Luke is a Canadian movie that made its North American premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. This DVD is the film’s U.S. debut.
