Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie movie scene

Eric Warenheim and Tim Heidecker star in Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie.

The 2012 comedy film Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie features the synapse-twisting minds of Tim Heidecker and Eric Warenheim, cult comedy heroes and stars of Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!.

In the movie, Tim and Eric , portraying themselves, are given a billion dollars to make a movie. Idiotically, they squander every dime eliciting the wrath of the sinister Schlaaang corporation. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. When they happen upon a chance to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants and bizarre stores, not to mention a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court, they see dollar signs—a billion of them!

In addition to starring in the film, Tim and Eric Written also wrote and directed it. Co stars include Jeff Goldblum (Morning Glory), William Atherton (Ghostbusters) and Bob Odenkirk (TV’s Breaking Bad), while uncredited guest appearances are made by Will Ferrell (Everything Must Go), John C. Reilly (Carnage) and Zach Galifiniakis (Due Date).

In March, 2012, Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie opened its limited run in U.S. theaters to mixed reviews and about $200,000 at the domestic box office. But it’s safe to say that this is one movie starring TV stars that’s sure to kick ass on disc!

No word on bonus features as of this date, but it’s worth noting that in an interview, Tim and Eric claimed that their R-rated movie was spliced together with deleted scenes from the DVD release of Rango.
