Ice Age: Continental DriftManny, Diego and Sid are on a high-seas adventure on an iceberg in the animated movie Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth film in the series.

Ray Romano (TV’s Men of a Certain Age), Denis Leary (TV’s Rescue Me) and John Leguizamo (Vanishing on 7th Street) are back voicing the movie’s heroes Manny, Diego and Sid, respectively.

After their continent is set adrift, they try to reunite with their herd and, along the way, encounter sea creatures and battle pirates.

Ice Age: Continental Drift Blu-ray 3D boxAlso returning are Queen Latifah (Just Wright), Seann William Scott (Goon), Josh Peck (Aliens in the Attack) and Simon Pegg (Paul). New to the voice cast this time around are Jennifer Lopez (The Back-Up Plan), Aziz Ansari (30 Minutes or Less), Peter Dinklage (TV’s Game of Thrones), Wanda Sykes (TV’s Curb Your Enthusiasm), Nick Frost (Snow White and the Huntsman), Patrick Stewart (Gnomeo & Juliet) and hip hop artists Nicki Minaj and Drake.

Critics didn’t have much love for Ice Age: Continental Drift, with Newark Star-Ledger‘s Stephen Whitty saying the film is “about as surprising and unpredictable as a glacier. And not much more fun.”

Moviegoers liked the movie better, and although Continental Drift grossed less than the other films in the franchise, it still earned a very healthy $159 million.
