[REC]³: Genesis movie scene[REC]³: Genesis is the third entry in the zombie-and-gore-filled Spanish-language Rec horror film series.
 
The 2012 film begins with a young couple’s wedding day—a celebration that doesn’t quite go as planned. Koldo (Diego Martin) and Clara’s (Leticia Dolera) big day appears to be running smoothly, and the bride, the groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day in the countryside… until some of the guests start showing signs of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, Koldo and Clara find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal, as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding. Maybe they should have eloped…

Paco Plaza, writer and director of the original 2007 Rec, which inspired the movie Quarantine, returns to the director’s chair to stage more gore for this third outing.

[REC]³: Genesis received a limited release to theaters in September, 2012, following its theatrical rollout across the world earlier in the year. Fans are psyched that it’s finally arriving on disc, which is where the first two installments in the series grew into cult favorites.

Bonus features on the disc of the R-rated 2012 film include a whopping twelve deleted scenes and a blooper reel.
